Among the products for Inco’s ceramic decoration, selected over the years, we also find a wide range of engobes and glazes for porcelain stoneware.

An engobe is used to cover the surface of the ceramic artifact and improve its appearance. In particular, an engobe levels the roughness, making the piece less permeable, homogenizes the colour and therefore expands the aesthetic possibilities of decoration, and reduces the formation of bubbles in the glaze caused by the gases coming from the transformation of the dough. A good engobe allows to emphasize also the colorimetric yield of the applied dyes —which can be traditional and digital— so for the surface of the final glaze.
